Can Dreams Really Tell the Future ?

The idea of dreams telling the future has been greatly stifled. Partly, this has happened affected by Christian church, which has reprimanded any sort of non-biblical prediction. Then again, conservative logical reasoning has also dismissed prophetic or precognitive dreams, probably because of the lack of adequately solid proofs for their reality or a logical hypothesis to explain them. Thus, dreams which in the past could easily be labeled 'precognitive', now are often thought of as unimportant incidents or stories created by individuals wishing to attract more attention.
