Magnifying Glass to Answer Your Dream Interpretation Questions

The two most basic statements I hear from individuals are; I had the weirdest dream last night; and, Is it normal to dream about _______ (fill in the blank)? Rarely do companions, family or customers want to enlighten me regarding the dream they had where they were collapsing laundry or walking the dog.

With regards to dreams, strange, bizarre and confusing is the standard.

I've been asked repeatedly if it's normal to dream about an explicit individual, place or thing.

For example:

• Is it normal to dream about sex each night?

• Is it normal to dream about my teeth falling out?

• Is it normal to dream about being chased by Bigfoot?

In addition to the above kinds of inquiries, I also get asked questions like:

• Is it normal to dream that I transform into a half woman, half pony being that can bounce over tall structures – despite the fact that I'm a man?

• Is it normal to dream that I continue getting executed again and again?

• Is it normal to dream that everything is made of glass?

To start with, let me assure you that almost anything in a dream is normal. Our unconscious creates images it feels passes on the message in the most elegant and effective way conceivable. However, our conscious personality doesn't always understand what the imagery should be. So instead of a beautiful woman riding a steed through a cityscape, our dream gets muddled into an image of a half woman, half steed that hops over tall structures. Or then again to say it all the more just, our dreaming mind gives us a red flash, our conscious personality interprets it as a red "flag" and instantaneously creates a story to incorporate a warning… however the image may not have been a flag at all.
